Meena has not only the classroom experience, but the drive and enthusiasm to begin teaching and forge an illustrious career. Through a GTP course, she has developed professionally and from day one, has been recognised as a fully fledged teacher and not a trainee. It is rare to speak with a relatively new teacher who is not perturbed by a challenging teaching environment. Meena's ideology is related to the teaching and development of all pupils; she is very capable of establishing objectives, presenting ideas and designing innovative resources to further turn on and inspire the minds of her pupils. Sharmaine is a very experienced teacher of English and Theatre up to A' Level. In her 30 years of classroom teaching, it is hard to imagine any situation that she has not encountered. Christiane is a teacher of German up to A' Level. Being of German decent, she is in a better position to teach the subject (her mother tongue) than most. She is aware not only of the technicalities of the language, but brings a natural sense of authenticity when relating to the cultural aspects of Germany. Although her current placement is in a high achieving, academically well-established school, she is not afraid of the challenges that a mixed comprehensive may bring, this of course relating to behaviour management. Her PGCE placement schools have prepared her to deal with tough kids, and those for whom foreign language education may not be a first choice. Christiane is available from September 2009 and readily available around Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Peterborough. She will also offer Spanish up to Key Stage 3.

Samuel is dedicated, meticulous, motivated and very highly regarded in Australia as a teacher of Music up to A' Level. He feels that the next step for his professional development is to gain a more global perspective on the teaching of music; he seeks a school in the UK to further his career and professional capacity. As a disciplinarian, Samuel is very aware of the need to enforce and be consistent with school policies and procedures but at the same time, to be ever adaptable dependant of situation. Simon is a very experienced teacher of English up to A' Level. After a short break from teaching to pursue other interests he is available once more to continue his 16 year career in a school around the Bristol area. Alongside delivering his subject, Simon has significantly raised standards in failing schools, implemented behaviour management strategies and written the English GCSE course and revision structure for the whole school. His track record is magnificent! He has been very successful as a Head of English. Simon will continuously look out for ways in which to improve his own teaching, the development of staff and new trainee teachers and the delivery of his subject to pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds. Erin cannot wait to get to the UK and begin a successful career in teaching. Having qualified in Canada, she is looking to the UK to provide her with a different cultural experience and opportunities to develop professionally as a teacher of English up to A' Level. The ideal setting for Erin would reflect her Canadian teaching practices; her few dealings with challenging pupils are based on methods of consistency, which she believes is the key to effective behaviour management policies. Even before the enrolment on her Bachelor of Education course at University, she volunteered in schools to make herself aware of the environment. As a result of this, the subsequent school placements were not something totally new to her and she became acclimatised to them very quickly, as she would undoubtedly do in the UK. For the past year and a half, Mark has been teaching in and around Bedfordshire in many schools. Although is main subject specialism is Drama up to A' Level, he has been delivering just about every subject on a day to day supply basis. He is looking to get back into the Drama class and begin once more teaching Drama. Mark also runs his own theatre company and through experiencing so many different policies, is very well practiced in the art of issuing sanctions - behaviour management is a skill which he has developed in great depth. There is a lot to be said for the benefits of a very experienced teacher, for experience is something that you simply cannot learn. In his 35 years of teaching, Ian has faced and dealt with just about every school based scenario from planning, delivery, implementing behaviour management strategies and how to motivate those for whom learning is a secondary priority. Vanessa has just graduated Durham University and is now a fully qualified teacher of Health and Social Care. Alongside this, she loves to teach English and can do so up to GCSE. it could be said that as an nqt, one is restricted in the way of effective strategies in the calssoom to overcome negative behaviour, with confidance being the underlying reason. Joanne is very eager to make a return to teaching. It could be said that after a short break from the classroom environment, one could become out of touch with behaviour management, delivery, general teaching methodology and models of best practice. On the contrary; Joanne is more motivated and ever eager to return to her first love, teaching Drama up to A' Level. It is evident that Joanne is very adaptable, with the ability to change her approach to and make her teaching applicable to any classroom situation; this comes only with experience and meticulous planning methods. It must be a massive challenge to start work as a newly qualified teacher; Anna has the added pressure of starting her career in a foreign country. She graduated in 2008 in Canada and established herself as someone who has reaped the full rewards of dedicating and committing to a teacher training degree. Her broad subject knowledge is due to not only a personal interest, but also academic study. Primarily Anna offers Art up to Key Stage five and can also, as she currently is in the UK, teach English to GCSE. She is very patient, dedicated and understands fully the importance of immediately outlining pupil/teacher boundaries; she is young, creative and consistent with school policies and her behaviour management strategies. An excellent classroom facilitator with high aspirations, ever adaptable.

Having devoted the past 4 years studying to become a qualified teacher, Jennifer is devoted, eager and carries bags of enthusiasm regarding her imminent relocation to the UK. In Australia, she has been practicing her delivery of English and Drama across different school settings, which has undoubtedly set her up for an excellent career path in teaching. Patrick is a very devoted teacher of both English up to A' Level and History. He is very big on the inclusion of ALL pupils and works very hard to make sure that he caters for everyone, regardless of ability and circumstance. Lisa is a teacher of French, who doesn't get put off easily! Part of the recently graduated PGCE course saw Lisa in three contrasting schools resulting in a confidence that would rival an experienced teacher. This is down to nothing but hard work and dedication. In her most recent placement, a tough mixed comprehensive, Lisa introduced to the department new digital resources which are still in place and continuing to benefit the delivery of Modern Foreign Languages. She seems to convey a natural quality which makes building a rapport with staff and pupils second nature. In a bid to enrich and gain global perspective on her profession, Rebecca has been travelling and teaching in Australia from January 2008. Upon her UK return she will be looking for a position to begin practice once more as a head of Drama. A huge advantage to the multi faceted Rebecca is not only her managerial experience, but her ability to deliver English, also to A' Level. Rebecca is very aware that as a teacher, you need to be able to bring more to the table than just teaching. Certainly teaching Drama comes with lots of obligatory extra curricular involvement - something that Rebecca welcomes and encourages. In the classroom, she has developed thorough experience the ability to build an instant rapport - something that comes across very strong, but also the ability to take control is evident which is indicative of her classroom style. In Australia, she is a fully qualified teacher of Dance and Drama, with 2 full years teaching experience in a high achieving all girls school. Amanda comes across just as well in person as she does in her glowing CV - thorough, passionate and genuinely excited at the prospect of using her intelect to inspire and broaden the knowledge of her pupils.
